An Amsterdam gem This is hands down one of the best boat cruises I have ever done. The boat itself is a historical marvel, boasting many prestigious passengers in its long life, and is a very comfortable and stable ride. The highlight of the cruise was Captain Jan. A truly remarkable skipper who is not only very skilled, knowledgeable and entertaining, he had us eating out of the palm of his hands the whole trip. With a capacity to seat 12 passengers, an onboard toilet and bar, the Jonckvrouw is perfect for small groups, families, corporate outings and special events. It’s a slice of Amsterdam heaven that should not be missed.

A Morning well spent We had a wonderfully entertaining and informative morning tour with Captain Dave. His knowledge of everything that is Amsterdam is second to none and he related to everyone on the tour with interest and humour. Would recommend his tour every time.

Laid back morning for cruising We really enjoyed our morning canal cruise in Amsterdam with Kareem. He was friendly, had a great sense of humor, and shared interesting facts and stories about Amsterdam along the way. The traditional cinnamon bread was a delicious touch. With only eight people on the small boat, the cruise felt relaxed and laid-back rather than crowded or rushed. A lovely way to see Amsterdam from the water.
Wonderful 90 min tour of the canals and some history of Amsterdam. Very enjoyable Loved the small group tour, the boat and the guide! Highly recommend.

Excellent Amsterdam Experience My husband and I took the Cruise Amsterdam Like a Local this afternoon with Jan. This was a fun, scenic, and very informational experience. We learned a lot about the history of Amsterdam and the canals, and we got to see a scenic view of the city. Jan made the trip so much fun as he is a very funny guy. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Amsterdam!
Lovely cruise A lovely a cruise around Amsterdam. Jan explained everything really well and was fun! It was a very relaxed atmosphere as we only had a small group of five. Overall loved it and would recommend to others.

He genuinely looked like a real sailor — tall, blond, and full of fascinating stories to tell! ⚓️Jan shared so many interesting historical facts and details about Amsterdam that I was able to learn a lot during the cruise. It was much more than simply seeing the city from the water; it felt like getting a personal history lesson from someone who really knows and loves the city.The views from the Jonckvrouw were amazing, especially around sunset, when the lights on the canal bridges gradually started to come on.
