The Morning Cruise is a light version of the early Morning Canal Cruise but still tranquil and beautiful!
The cruise will be fun, entertaining, personal, comfortable, and relaxing. The captain will be your host and guide and give you a unique perspective of the city. Learn about the history and facts you didn’t know.
We cruise in the former Dutch 1928 government boat used by Presidents, Mayors, and the Dutch Royal family.
The boat is 100% electric, comfortable with toilet on board. When the weather is nice, we open the roof and windows. When it rains, we stay dry.
If it is chilly, we have heating and extra blankets to keep you warm.
Let’s get to know the Amsterdam canals before it gets crowded.
See you on board!
Cheers Captain Dave
“It’s a joy to be on the water before the crowds. The cruise is peaceful, beautiful, and highly informative”.
At 10 and 10:30 AM, Amsterdam begins to wake, and the atmosphere is quietly magical.
There’s space to breathe, take photos without the crowds, and soak up the serenity before it gets crowed.
With Captain Dave’s team steering the experience, guests rave about the stories, the laughter, and the feeling of being part of something truly unique.
It’s not just peaceful—it’s personal.
We cruise on two beloved boats —Jonckvrouw (8 AM) and James Bond (8:30 AM).
Jonckvrouw (1928) is a certified Varend Monument® (Navigating Heritage)—she’s one of Amsterdam’s most iconic canal boats, with elegance and history in every curve.
James Bond (1990) is her sleek counterpart —a former taxiboat designed for speed and panoramic views. With a 360° open front area.
Both boats are electric, whisper-quiet, and offer cozy lounge seating, a toilet, sliding windows, heated interior, outer deck, and extra blankets.
The choice depends on availability—but both promise an unforgettable ride.
The Morning cruise departs at 10:00 AM aboard Jonckvrouw, and at 10:30 AM aboard James Bond—both moored at Prinsengracht 397 in the heart of Amsterdam.
We’ll be ready on board 5 minutes before your scheduled departure.
Important: the boat is docked on the odd-numbered side of the canal. Please don’t ring canal house doorbells (unless you fancy waking up sleepy Amsterdammers).
After 90 minutes on the water, we return to the same spot.
We keep it simple and inclusive:
—Adults (11+): €39
—Children (3–10): €31
—Private boat trip: €215 per hour
Prices include the full experience—captain, drinks, treats, stories, and all taxes.

Whether you’re joining solo, with friends, or reserving the boat for a private voyage, we’ve designed pricing to be fair and flexible. And unforgettable—that’s always included.
